The Perkup Book Signing

Habara gani!

On Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016 Perkup’ Cafe hosted a book signing for my children’s book,  A Birthday Story.   Thanks to Delores, her employees and customers for the successful event.  One of her customer’s left me with this comment after perusing the book: She likes the book because it’s good for conversation with her grandson. she can see  discussing the birthday party that he might like to have, the colors he likes and the kind of cupcakes he likes best.  I think this says that it’s a book for all genders and ages.

The cafe’ venues have proven to be  successful for book sales.  I thank Kristen Maniscalo with Xlibris for the suggestion and the list of referrals.

The publishing company  ( Xlibris) and I have just finalized a promotional package for December to help increase sales.

I’m working on a short story, while I work on getting sales for the book.  I thought I would pull together a collection of poetry to submitted to contest, but decided I didn’t have the time to complete the one or two that I might include, before the contest deadlines.  I looking to next year for having the collection ready.

I let you know how the signing at Ritual Cafe’ goes, on Tuesday, November 29, 2016.  The time is 3:00 p to 5:00p.

Until next time.
